About The Presenters


Dr. Craig Llewellyn is currently a Research Principal in the Global Toxicology Group at Kraft Foods. His global responsibilities include the science and management policies of food allergens, addressing toxicological food safety issues, and food ingredient safety assessments. He also serves on advisory boards for the Joint Institute of Food Safety and Applied Nutrition at the University of Maryland and the Food Allergy Research and Resource Program at the University of Nebraska. Dr. Llewellyn is a member of the Society of Toxicology (past President of the Food Safety Specialty Section), the Institute of Food Technologists and the American College of Toxicology.

Roel Vaessen has served as Secretary General of the European Coffee Federation since June 1992. Having studied International Law at Leiden University, Roel joined the Ministry of Economic Affairs in the Netherlands and was initially involved in export promotion and subsequently in intergovernmental commodity agreements. He was also appointed the Dutch delegate to the International Coffee Organization. Roel has served as Chairman of the ICO Private Sector Consultative Board and has been Secretary of the Association of Netherlands Coffee Roasters since 1988

Robin Stafford is Of Counsel in the San Francisco office of Morrison & Foerster LLP, where she specializes in environmental law. Her practice has focused on litigation of claims under federal and state environmental law, including CERCLA, the Marine Mammal Protection Act, and California's Proposition 65 ("Prop 65"). Ms. Stafford has also assisted clients with compliance issues arising from Prop 65 and storm water regulations under the federal Clean Water Act, and has helped manage risks associated with real estate transactions by offering advice on environmental and contractual indemnity issues.
