Private label continues to grow and gain market share in North America. With younger generations less loyal to national brands retailers are leading the way in offering new solutions that resonate consumer values and changing taste preferences. At the same time more and more retailers are announcing public commitments to sustainably source coffee and overhaul their private label offerings. How will these two trends influence opportunities in the market? How can roasters and supplier work to meet changing demand?

Fair Trade USA and Rainforest Alliance are joining together to offer a two-part series of webinars that will cover sustainability trends in grocery retail. Session one "Certification and Retail: Sustainable Trends in Grocery" focused on consumption and sustainability preference trends at retail as well as providing an overview of how certifications directly partner with retailers to support impact and deliver on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goals. Session two will feature retailers Thrive Market and Whole Foods Market as they share their perspectives and offer case studies for how they have partnered with certifications and suppliers to successfully engage their customers and build a clear value proposition.
