NCA Launches New Consumer-Focused Website “About Coffee”

For immediate release

January 15, 2025 | NEW YORK  – The National Coffee Association (NCA) is excited to announce the launch of a new B2C website, About Coffee (aboutcoffee.org), providing consumers with accurate, fact-based information about America's favorite brew. Anyone seeking coffee-related information can visit the website to learn about the origins and lifecycle of coffee, brewing methods and proper storage, coffee’s health benefits, and more.

About Coffee serves as an informational platform for coffee drinkers and anyone curious about coffee to access data-driven information and “sippable facts.”

The launch of About Coffee comes on the heels of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s recent redefinition of “healthy.” About Coffee’s Research Library features independent, peer-reviewed research showing that drinking coffee is linked to many significant health benefits – making it quick and easy to find information backed by multiple, high-quality studies.

NCA President and CEO William “Bill” Murray commented:

“The NCA’s new website, aboutcoffee.org, provides consumers with trustworthy, fact-based information about America’s favorite beverage other than bottled water, along with scientific evidence that shows that coffee drinkers live longer, healthier, happier lives. We’re proud to share this new resource.”

The NCA’s website at ncausa.org will continue to serve as an authoritative B2B resource for coffee professionals, especially as the gateway for NCA members to access the resources and information exclusive to their annual membership. Having two distinct websites allows the NCA to better serve the unique informational needs of both the industry professional and consumer-oriented audiences.

Visit aboutcoffee.org for more information.
