NEW YORK| FEBRUARY 25, 2025 - The National Coffee Association (NCA) is proud to name Root Capital as the 2025 NCA Origin Charity of the Year, sponsored by Mother Parkers Tea & Coffee, in recognition of Root Capital’s work to grow rural prosperity and build the resilience of farming families around the world.

Root Capital helps coffee cooperatives succeed and scale by combining financing and capacity-building advisory services. NCA President and CEO William “Bill” Murray commented:

“Root Capital provides farming families access to financing and services that focus on gender equity, climate action, and next generation jobs. With this award, we recognize the deep impact of the organization’s holistic approach to improve the lives of coffee farmers around the world.”
